Countless times I get women and men who have no idea what to do with their curl?
“It gets frizzy, puffy, unmanageable…etc.” the list goes on and on of how people have this great gift on their head
but they don’t know what to do with it.
Well the time is now and I’m here to share with you the revolutionary products that have worked for my clients. Check out Bumble and Bumble’s Curl line. They’re revamped their old formula to create a concoction that’s been rocking the shelves, and have been the holy grail to what Curly gals and guys have been searching for. When looking for hair products that will help to give you the desired look you need, here’s some benefits to why you should consider BB Curl.

My dear sassy client Ms. Linda is the perfect example for these incredible products. Just like the rest of those lost souls, Linda grew up thinking that she had a problem she was cursed with, which is her fro of a mane. Through her childhood her Mother did not have the tools or knowledge to treat textured hair, but it’s not too late to change old habits. To this day Ms. Linda still doesn’t want the upkeep but at least the products that we use on her are easy to use and looks completely effortless.
How to Create Volume and Defined Curls:
- After the wash I towel dried her hair as much as possible.
- Misting through the hair I spray the BB Curl “Primer” to help create an even canvas to help apply the other products.
- This product also works well for the following days to help decrease the fluff.
- Just spritz the ends to reactivate the products for more days of perfect wave.
- With BB Curl “Conditioning Mousse” I like to take golf ball size amounts at a time, raking it from the roots down. 3 x’s should be more than enough to cover the base.
- I love this Mousse because it give you actual body without the debris some mousses bring to the table.
- From Midshafts to Ends I take a quarter size of BB Curl “Defining Creme” at a time. Use enough to moisten the ends.
- This can be tricky because of the density each person has. Start with less than add more as you go.
- For her specific style. I take 1 1/2″ sub sections and mimic her curl by twisting her hair in a corkscrew motion. Once the whole head is set, I use a diffuser with a medium setting as well as the speed.
- Optional to Air Dry
- After the hair is completely dried I never touch the hair unless I have oil on my fingertips, specifically BB “Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil”
- By separating hair with oil you decrease the risk of adding frizz
